Cancellation and Shipping Policy

This Cancellation and Shipping Policy explains how order cancellations, shipping, delivery delays, Return-to-Origin (RTO), and damaged shipments are handled for purchases made on Posterized.in.


Cancellation Policy:

  • Custom and Personalised Orders: Orders for customised or personalised products, including custom posters, custom split sets, and personalised photo prints, are strictly non-cancellable once placed. No exceptions will be made as production begins immediately upon order confirmation.
  • Non-Customised Orders: Cancellation requests for standard non-customised products are accepted only before the order is dispatched. Once the order has been shipped, cancellation will not be possible.
  • How to Request Cancellation: To request cancellation for an eligible order, please contact us immediately at support@posterized.in or via WhatsApp with your order number.

Shipping Policy:

  • Shipping Locations: We ship across India. International shipping is available upon request. Any applicable customs duties, taxes, or additional charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Order Processing Time: Posterized.in operates on a print-on-demand model. All orders are printed, packed, and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days from the date of order confirmation. Processing time may vary slightly during high order volume, sale periods, or due to design/file-related issues.
  • Shipping Methods: We work with trusted courier partners to ensure safe and timely delivery. Available shipping options and applicable charges, if any, will be displayed at checkout before order placement.
  • Estimated Delivery Time:
    • Metros and Tier 1 cities: 3 to 5 business days after dispatch
    • Tier 2, Tier 3 cities and remote areas: 5 to 10 business days after dispatch
  • Delivery Timeline Disclaimer: Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, weather conditions, network disruptions, or other external factors beyond our control. Posterized.in is not liable for delays caused by the courier partner.
  • Order Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email, SMS, or WhatsApp update containing the tracking details. You can use the tracking details to monitor your order status online.
  • Shipping Delays: While we try our best to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. In case of significant delays, customers may contact our support team for assistance, and we will coordinate with the courier partner wherever possible.
  • Incorrect or Incomplete Address: Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout. Posterized.in is not responsible for failed deliveries, delays, returns, or losses caused by incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address details. Re-shipping charges will apply in such cases.

Return-to-Origin (RTO) / Refused Delivery:

  • If an order is returned to us by the courier due to customer refusal, repeated delivery failure, incorrect or incomplete address, unreachable phone number, or customer unavailability, it will be treated as RTO (Return-to-Origin).
  • Refund for RTO Orders: Refunds for eligible prepaid RTO orders will be processed only after the parcel is received back at our facility and verified.
  • Courier and Handling Deduction: Since forward and return courier charges are applied, applicable courier charges and handling fees will be deducted from the paid amount. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.
  • Custom and Personalised RTO Orders: Customised or personalised products are made specifically for the customer and are non-cancellable and non-refundable, even if the parcel is refused, returned, or undelivered due to customer-side issues.
  • COD RTO Orders: If a COD order is refused or returned due to customer-side issues, the order may be cancelled once received back. Future COD orders may be restricted at our discretion.
  • Reshipping After RTO: If the customer wants the order to be shipped again after the RTO parcel is received back at our facility, applicable reshipping charges must be paid before redispatch.

Lost or Damaged Shipments:

  • Lost Shipments: In rare cases where a shipment is lost by the courier partner, please notify us immediately. We will coordinate with the courier partner and assist with a suitable resolution after verification.
  • Damaged Packages: If the outer packaging appears visibly damaged at the time of delivery, please refuse to accept the parcel and inform our support team immediately.
  • Unboxing Video Requirement: If the package is accepted and the product inside is damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect, customers must provide a clear and continuous unboxing video of the sealed package within 48 hours of delivery. Claims without valid unboxing proof may not be accepted.
